Overall

Allow me to preface this post with saying I have rented a multitude of beach houses in my 51 years and by far found this home to be superior to all others. While this home has a fun beach vibe it definitely has a home away from home feel. This property is pet friendly and even includes pet blankets for added comfort while lounging on the expansive comfy sofa that you melt in. I have an older pup that struggles with stairs and this property afforded us an opportunity to bring her without us breaking our backs carrying her up stairs since it had a ground level back door. The master suite is spacious with an added front view balcony. The two other bedrooms downstairs are very spacious and have their own en-suite bathrooms. The bunk room even had a small couch which was a great addition. The king bed in the downstairs bedroom was soft and very comfortable for me because I enjoy a soft bed. I slept like a baby. The bunk room beds were even comfortable and I felt had upgraded mattresses from any other bunk bed I have experienced. Each bathroom had body soap and towels. The downstairs bunk room has a bathtub. The openness of the common space: i.e. living room, dining room and kitchen is a floor plan that I personally think is best for vacationing as a central place for people to eat, play games and lounge. The living room has a few board games for entertainment. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, dish ware, etc. The owner even supplies the basic seasoning for flavoring your cooked meals. At the time of booking, I wasn't sure how I felt about the view from the back of the home but after experiencing the afternoon shaded breeze and comfy furniture on the second level balcony, this was my go-to place for unwinding from busy beach days and coffee in the mornings to watch the sunrise. They even have what appears to be fishing line strewn throughout the balcony view to keep birds out from using the balcony as a bathroom or even nesting so it was super clean and ingenious. My son in law also enjoyed that he could piddle away fishing right off the back porch. There is a place outside on the side of the house to store beach items you don't want to bring inside and have quick access to use daily. There is an outdoor shower head on the back patio with warm water for rinsing off from a sandy beach day. This home is Beautiful, very clean, and well thought out by the owners. I can't wait to rent again soon! Suggest bringing your own towels/wash cloths, and coffee (k-cup or regular grounds no filters needed)

Overall

I can't say enough about this beautiful home. It was perfect for our family and friends for the long July 4th weekend. Kitchen is huge and has everything you need. They were kind enough to have a bottle of wine, some Keurig coffee pods along with a welcome letter waiting for us. The golf cart was so nice to have and they delivered and picked up making it so easy. Location was perfect as it's so close to the beach. Highly recommend!
