This newly renovated two-bedroom second-floor condo at El Cortez is decorated in beach life with shades of blue and grey. You will love the open floor plan, spacious living area and bedrooms with ocean life décor carried throughout. Gather everyone in the living room to watch a movie on the large TV while lounging on the couch or rocker/recliners. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed to prepare meals such as spacious countertops, white cabinets, and appliances, a drip coffee maker, dishes, basic pots, pans, and utensils. Enjoy meals at the dining table with seating for six and additional seating for three at the breakfast bar. Take your coffee out to the balcony to sip in the ocean breeze. The master bedroom (BR1) consists of a King bed, nightstands, chest, walk-in closet, armchair and TV. The ensuite bathroom holds a pedestal sink and tiled shower. The guest bedroom (BR2) is made up of two Queen beds, a nightstand, TV and a walk-in closet with shelving for clothes. The bathroom contains a tiled vanity and a tiled tub/shower unit and a stackable washer/dryer for your use during your stay. Cool off in the shared pool or sit under the covered area with shared charcoal grills for cooking up the day's catch. Take advantage of the easy access to the beach by using the new boardwalk for walking and golf carts. El Cortez is just five minutes from Port Aransas offering a variety of restaurants, shops, nightlife, and fishing charters.

Great unit, but not located in Cinnamon Shores

Overall

The unit was great. Updated and clean. The guest shower was a little dingy, but hey it's a beach with lots of humidity. The one thing that we were disappointed with was that it appears to be located within the Cinnamon Shores community. It is NOT. It is adjacent to the property and thus we did not have access to that pool and its amenities such as the pool bar. This property, EL CORTEZ does have a small pool but not like Cinnamon. Luckily, we were able to walk to Cinnamon Shores North and still access the restaurants and shops. It would be appreciated for those who are unfamiliar with the area, to have this more clearly stated in the listing. Otherwise I would give it a full 5 stars. ;)

Overall

Our condo was super cute/cozy. Perfect for our little family of 6. I like how the condo had shampoo, trash bags, pots and pans etc. The only downfall was we wish the beach was a little closer. You need a golf cart to get to the beach it is a walk especially if you have toddlers. Overall we will consider booking again.

We stayed at this condo for close to a month. Left a few days early due strictly to weather. Loved the condo. Nicely decorated with beach theme. Big bedrooms, nice balcony, easy golf cart access to beach. We may come back in the summer.

Wonderful condo, close to pool. Comfortable beds. The agent, Mary, met us and made sure we had extra towels and a keurig coffee maker. Kitchen had what we needed. vacay beach rental was great to have chairs ready for our use. We brought a wagon to load our things for the beach. Some jellyfish on beach— bring vinegar and meat tenderizer to stop the sting. Try mcDaddy's family kitchen in Port A for dinner—wonderful.

The condo was clean and nicely furnished. We were pleased. The microwave handle was broken but functional. We would rent this condo again. The master bathroom is tiny but functional. The staff was very responsive.

This condo was wonderful! Beach access was very easy with a golf cart and the beach was really well maintained. The condo was very spacious with comfortable beds and a well-appointed kitchen. We loved cruising the beach down into town for dinner and dipping in the fresh pool after a day at the beach. We would love to come back!

Vacations with the teenagers in Port A

Overall

We traveled with 2 teenagers so we really liked the large bedrooms. The boys shared a room with two queens and a bathroom. We rented a golf cart and were able to get to the beach by using the private boardwalk for the property. We will return.

Overall

We didn't have the best weather when visiting but we really liked being able to sip wine and eat cheese on the balcony. Made us feel close to the beach which was windy and cold. Condo was very cute and very comfortable. In fact, we cuddled on the couch and binged watched some shows during our few days of rain. Great internet and streaming!

We had a great experience at this house and with Life In Paradise. Found many unexpected things in this rental such as a king bed and two queens. We came as 2 adult couples so thankful that there were no bunkbeds!

Roomy and close to the beach. Also, I had to work while enjoying Port A and found the internet to be super fast -- much faster than what I have at home. Hopefully, I can leave the work at home the next go around.
